AHA acids & vitamin A
Retinoids (different types of vitamin A) and AHA acids (fruit acids) are documented active ingredients that repair sun damage, rough skin and aging.
Many studies show that retinoids make the skin more active and stimulate increased collagen production. This means that the skin becomes more hydrated, plump and elastic.
AHA acids cause the skin to renew itself faster than it normally does, especially after the age of 30. A skin cycle takes about four weeks, but as we get older it takes even longer. This means that aging impairs the skin's ability to renew itself. Therefore, fruit acids should be used regularly so that the renewal process is kept going without "sluggishness."
The effect of Retinoids and AHAs used in combination is absolutely unbeatable. AHAs provide immediate effects, while Retinoids are active in depth and it takes some time for the effect to be visible. If you want to effectively reduce lines, large pores, rough skin texture and uneven pigmentation, you should use these active ingredients together.
Briefly summarized:
1. The fruit acids remove the dead skin cells that cause a rougher texture, larger pores and a dull and uneven skin tone.
2. Retinoids penetrate deeper into the skin and stimulate new, healthy cells. This leads to more productive, healthier, firmer and smoother skin.
